*PETER JACKA was arguably the most consequential Adman in New Zealand’s history. Considered by many as the father of modern-day advertising as we

know it today, Jacka came to prominance during the halcyon days of the 1960s and 70’s – the period commonly refered to as the ‘Golden Age’ of Advertsing,

during which time he built three highly successful multi-million dollar advertising agencies to which his own contribution was as a marketer, writer

and creative strategist. At the ripe old age of 47 he retired to Honolulu 1977 to pursue his passion for watercolour painting.
